The sewn-in label comes first
Materials, trims, prints and finishes vary by style. Always follow the care label attached to your garment; where it differs from this general guidance, the label takes priority.

Before washing
Close fastenings, empty pockets and turn printed or decorated garments inside out when the care label permits. Wash with similar colors.

Wash gently
Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent only when machine washing is allowed by the label. Avoid bleach unless the label expressly permits it.

Dry with care
Reshape after washing and avoid excessive heat. Air dry or tumble dry only as directed on the garment label.

Press and store
If ironing is permitted, use the label's heat setting and avoid direct heat on prints, transfers, reflective details or trims. Store clean and dry.
